The Centre for Digital Media (CDM) in Vancouver offers a 16-month Master of Digital Media (MDM) program. It's a collaboration between UBC, SFU, BCIT, and Emily Carr University. The MDM program blends creative, technical, and business skills through real-world projects with industry partners. Students work in teams to develop digital products and experiences while gaining hands-on experience in UX, storytelling, and production. The program supports career growth through mentorship, workshops, and networking. Graduates finish with a professional portfolio and qualify for a 3-year Canadian work permit. CDM also hosts events, research, and startup opportunities in digital media.
